4th day into school life after June hols. rather eventful week, i must admit. charlene had an operation and had to be in a cast for 6 weeks. Poor her. Returned to school yesterday and was absent today cos she was unwell i think.
hope u have a speedy and painless recovery, charlene. :) right and cj's finally back from LOA. she went to america. oh well, the govt's now not asking ppl to refrain from going to those red-coded countries. there's really no point in it since now there's sooooo many local cases. Anw, there's no assembly tomorrow cos of H1N1 and we're not supposed to have any mass gatherings. HAHA. GOOD. FANTASTIC. cos i have no idea where my tie is. I'm pretty sure it will turn up some day; the greenblackwhite stands out.
for el today, we were supposed to get started on analysing ads. we were asked to create our own advertisements for a product. our group chose sanitizers. A totally random choice. Doobie's group's tagline was: Sanitize and save lives. quite cool actually. Then someone else's grou's headline was go nuts over donuts. cute right?? then, ms santhi showed us some ads. there were some pretty funny ones. oh right. talking of ads. the cadburry's latest one is...unique. the one with a boy and a girl sitting there and just waggling their eyebrows to the tune of some music or sth. pretty cool that their eyebrows can do that thing (real??) but i seriously see no point. whatever. just for amusement.
oh right. we were encouraged to talk in shakespearean language to get in the mood for mov. shall attempt to write fully in that language for the next few posts. see how long i can perservere.
